I had been so lost in Apollo’s eyes that I didn’t even nolice his mother glaring
Taken aback, I I wonder why her stare seems to carry even more contempt for me

Isabella looks at me and then we both look at our mother,

I had an idea. They were trying to be friendly with our mother but clearly that friendliness did not include my sister and I. Well, this was interesting.

We were all supposed to go out for dinner tonight, like one big happy family, even though we were anything but that
“I don’t care what you say,” babella insists, throwing a dress at me. “You are wearing this.”
I already had my hair and makeup done by the family stylist. Isabella was fully dressed too. I was the only one who hadn’t picked an outfit yet, mostly because my sister insisted I wear a sexy dress that she claimed was perfect for the occasion. I knew it was anything but that Even wore the most stunning dress on the planet, it wouldn’t change the fact that Apollo was about to get engaged in a few days

“Come on,” she whispers. “You need to make this difficult for Apollo. Don’t let him give up on what you both have together without a fight. He needs to recognize that he can’t live without you.”
I sigh.
He seems perfectly fine without me. I’m the one suffering while he moves on with Jada. Before long, they’ll be married with kids, and I’ll still be chained to these feelings, unable to let go.
“Come on,” she urges.
It doesn’t look like I have a choice. Isabella would continue to nag me untill complied. She was convinced we could change Apollo’s mind, while I was too heartbroken to even consider trying
Why did everything hurt this much for me but somehow for Apollo everything seemed to be okay?
