Chapter 88 Beating Cadell
Cadell’s expression grew increasingly dark. I spoke slowly, “Cadell, your uncle is far superior to you. Putting aside time, he’s at least ten times better in size. I really don’t understand how a loser like you could dare to compare yourself to him”
I had been with Cadell for seven years. I knew all his thoughts, including the things he cared about most. Every word I said was meant to pierce his fragile ego
“Aurora” he shouted my name through clenched teeth, his voice quivering with rage. “How dare you betray me, you despicable woman!”
As he spoke, he reached out, ready to strike me.
However, with the aroma gradually dissipating, the feeling that had weakened my body had faded, and I had regained some strength. Before he could hit me, I dodged, causing him to miss and lose his balance. He
stumbled and fell heavily to the ground, looking utterly pathetic.

I couldn’t help but chuckle. Before coming here to confront me, Cadell hadn’t consider bringing any bodyguards. He didn’t want anyone else to hear his dirty secrets.
But how could he not realize his current state made him no match for me? He was so spoiled, so full of
himself, that he believed he was invincible.
I approached him slowly, lifting my leg to step on his wound. Almost immediately, I heard him let out a pained
howl. Without hesitation, I pressed down harder on his wound. “Cadell, were you planning to hit me just now?”
Sweat covered his forehead, his eyes wide with fear. “Aurora! You’re on my turf! Do you have any idea what
the consequences will be for doing this to me?”
I scoffed at the threat in his voice. “Cadell, I’m already locked up here. Your grandfather has no intention of
letting me go. Don’t you think it’s a bit ridiculous to bring up consequences now?”
Fear filled his gaze as I mercilessly attacked his wound again. His cries of pain echoed through the empty room–there was no one nearby to save him. Helpless, he lay pinned beneath me, venting his fury with furious
screams
Even as he groaned in agony, Cadell managed to issue another warning. “Aurora! Stop! If you stop now, I’ll beg my grandfather to spare you, to be gentler with you! Otherwise…
Gentler?
I scoffed again. I had no need for their so–called gentleness or mercy. My ultimate goal was to get myself sent to Philip. I had to act in a certain way to prompt Cadell to make the decision.
I needed to provoke Cadell–badly. If I didn’t, his narcissistic nature might lead him to think I still cared for him. For his own vanity, he could very well keep me trapped in the A–zone to continue his torment.
I wasn’t going to waste time on someone like him.
To me, Cadell was nothing more than a tool.
I stared at him coldly, not holding back in the slightest. Cadell was in extreme pain and couldn’t help but
curse.

“Aurora, you’re forcing me! I was planning to save you, but if you’re going to be this cruel, don’t expect me to show any mercy! I swear, you’ll regret betraying mel
I
“Regret?” I looked at him with a mocking smile. “Cadell, do you have some kind of delusion about yourself?”
My voice was soft, but every word hit him like a blade, cutting deep into his heart. Slowly, I continued, “Do you really think anyone truly loves you? Lorna was only with you for your money. Do you honestly think your four–minute performance was enough to keep her?”
“Don’t flatter yourself.” I laughed. “You’re dull, incompetent, and outclassed in every way. What makes your think you can attract a woman? Is it because you have no shame?”
“Let me be frank with you, Cadell. After you drugged me that time, I ended up in Cyril’s bed. In other words,
you
handed me over to him yourself. How does that make you feel?”
My words nearly drove Cadell insane. His eyes turned bloodshot as he roared, ‘Aurora Wenmir!!”
“Stop yelling.” I punched his mouth, splitting his lip and drawing blood. I relished the sight of his battered state, throwing every ounce of strength into my actions. The marks on his face brought me a sliver of satisfaction.
If only to repay my sister Sylvia’s suffering, I’d take some retribution here and now. When I find Sylvia, I’ll return his cruelty a thousand times over.
At first, Cadell stubbornly threatened me, but as time went on, his tone shifted entirely. No more threats, only desperate pleas for mercy, begging me to ease up on him
But in his eyes, I could see nothing but hatred. It was clear that if he ever got free, he would retaliate against me without hesitation.
That actually pleased me.
I pressed harder on his wound and spoke softly, “Cadell, you know what? Right now, you look like a pathetic animal–lower even than the D–zone women you disdain.”
Cadell’s eyes widened in disbelief, filled with rage and hatred.
I didn’t care and continued tormenting him.
Finally, the commotion drew the attention of a patrolling guard. They arrived and, upon seeing the scene, their faces darkened. Cadell, as if seeing salvation, immediately shouted, “Help me! Get this madwoman off
me!”
The patrol pushed me aside roughly and carefully helped Cadell to his feet. He glared at me, gritting his teeth in fury. “Aurora, just wait. I won’t let you get away with this!”
I smirked, curling my lips. ‘Go ahead and send me to Philip. I can’t wait.‘
