“Good Morning Angel. How are you feeling?” Blake smiled at me as he walked over and perched himself on the edge of the bed. He cupped my face with dee hand and gently caressed my cheek with his thumb.

I leaned my face into his hand and took a deep breath in.
“Much better, actually, I don’t have the urge to jump your bones.” I chuckled.
“Damn it. I was looking forward to some morning sex.” Blake laughed and placed a kiss on my forehead.
“Sorry, you’re out of luck. But the good news is, now we can go see The Coven and find out why all this is happening to me.” I beamed. I was definitely feeling better. Most of all, I was eager to know all the secrets my body was hiding.
“What if the answers we are looking for are more beastly than we expect? What will you do then?” Blake was suddenly very serious.
“Will that change the love you have for me?” I questioned, tangling my fingers into his free hand.
The look on his face was scaring me a little. Would he leave me if I turned out to be someone completely different from his expectation?
“Of course it won’t. Whatever happens, I will always stand by you. Never question my love for you, Angel. Never.” Blake’s grasp on my face tightened.
I smiled up at Blake. “Then I’m not worried about what The Coven has found out. As long as I have you by my side, I will be fine.”
I watched as Blake’s lip quivered a little, and his eyes filled with more admiration than before.
“I love you, my Angel.” Blake pulled my face up to his and captured my lips.
His kiss was soft and gentle. I immediately responded to his touch, moving my lips with his.
Blake’s phone started to vibrate on the side table.
Blake groaned against my lips and slowly pulled away.
“Someone better be dying,” he muttered and picked up his phone.
I giggled and wrapped the top sheet tightly around my body. Blake got busy dealing with his caller, and I headed for the shower. My sticky, sweaty body definitely needed a clean. All my showers in the recent days had turned into a hot steamy fuck session. I was starting to crave those few moments alone in the shower.
As I turned on the shower, I heard Blake finish his conversation.
“Angel,” he called, walking into the bathroom.
He had annoyance written all over his face.
