The car ride was gloomy and awkward. Rocky filled me in on things that had happened while Blake and I were locked up and tried to duria pa the awkwardness. As much as Blake participated in the conversation, I could tell he was tense about something
The past few days had been so amazing, filled with love and romance. But watching Blake go from a loved up passionate creature to stick no Bir B was making me sad. What had happened between me waking up and having a shower that had suddenly changed Blake so much? Was it the phone c took on the balcony? Had Klaus said something more about his findings on my suppressant spell?

I had never heard Blake mention her before. The only girl Blake had talked about was Kyra. Come to think about it, I had never really talked with Blake about the girls in his life. There was never a discussion about his ex–girlfriends, dates, crushes, or even casual sex partners. i never needed to ask, and I trusted him. Besides Chrissy Robins, no girl from his past had ever interrupted our life. Unlike my so–called ex that popped up everywhere, I went.
Was I overthinking this situation? Blake was the King of the East. He had to know all his people; it was his job. So it shouldn’t be a surprise to me that Blake knew Mia’s sister’s name, right? Knowing Cynthia could just be a coincidence, given that he knew Mia. So why did I jump to the conclusion that she was a blast from his past?! I trusted Blake, and it was something like that; he would have told me upfront.
I mentally facepalmed myself and rolled my eyes as I realized how stupid I sounded for even thinking about all that–nonsense.
I was a typical girl jumping to silly conclusions.

“Rosy, did you hear what I said?!” Rocky shook my shoulder.
“Shit, I’m so sorry. I zoned out for a second” I felt my cheeks heat up.
“What’s wrong, Angel? Not feeling good?” Blake reached out and touched my face.
He could obviously see the redness and assumed I was feeling ill.
“No, no, I’m fine. I just had a silly thought, that’s all,” I stuttered, blushing even more.
“Oh god, please don’t go all hornier right now. I have nowhere to run and hide,” Rocky groaned from the backseat, and Blake reached over to smack his
head.
Rocky cursed Blake, and the two just started bickering, making me laugh.
Their relationship was so cute and childish, it would give someone the idea that they were brothers instead or brothers by law.
“Okay, time out! Both of you,” I finally yelled.
Rocky settled back in his seat, and Blake put both hands on the steering wheel. It was odd for him not to be holding my hand, but I brushed it off.
We would soon find out whatever it was that was bothering Blake.
I looked out the car window and started to recognize the environment. We had reached Huntly. The entire town was so beautiful; it made me proud to know I was part of a family that looked after its people and their town so well.
As we drove past the hill The Cooper Mansion sat on; I admired its beauty from the outside. It was stunning from the inside and out.
My life was turning out to be just like a fairytale. The knight in shining armor, the palace, and the kingdom every girl hopes for.
I smiled at the thought of how lucky I was. Unfortunately, I had to go through a swamp to get to the happily ever after.
The vibration from Blake’s phone brought me back to reality.
“We’re on our way, Klaus. Another hour” Blake answered.

Whatever Klaus’k reply was, it made Blake growl and swear under his breathi.
“Okay, we shall see you all soon: Blake hung up and tossed his phone into the cup holder.
“What happened?!” I asked, His reaction all morning were making me worry.
Just a little situation. Don’t worry,” Blake muttered.
Rocky snickered and tried to hide his amusement with a cough..
Before I could question it, Rocky leaned forward and turned up the song playing on the radio.
