Oh god! No, I wasn’t ready for that.
I stood there trying to figure out how to talk back to Kiki without speaking out loud.
“I can hear your thoughts. It’s called a mindlink. Just think of whatever you

and I can hear it.” Kiki instructed.
“I’m not ready for this. I barely know how to talk to you. What makes you think I can handle transforming into a huge wolf?” I felt silly, shifting my weight from one foot to another awkwardly.
“You aren’t alone. I’m here to lead the way for you. As Selene said, you were born for this, Rosy. Do not doubt yourself or the strength you have. Yes, it hurts a little the first time, but after that, your body is attuned to it.” Kiki stated.
Was I really that strong? I had witnessed Blake transforming from a wolf into a human once, and from memory, the sound of cracking bones wasn’t pleasant. Of course, Blake didn’t look in any pain when it happened, but then again, I wasn’t paying must attention to his pain levels.
I knew I had a high pain tolerance thanks to mum’s constant beatings. But was my body strong enough?
“I don’t think you should be provoking me. I don’t know what my brother has told you about me, but I can assure you, I am capable of things you can not imagine,” Blake snapped.
I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to find Mia standing behind me.
“Luna, I think we should get you out of here. It’s not safe,” she whispered.
“The girl doesn’t leave. This place is surrounded by wolves and witches instructed to kill her and anyone that is seen with her,” Josh roared. He had a sour expression on his face.
“Fuck off, asshole. You will go nowhere near Rosy.” Max growled.
“If I were you, I wouldn’t talk to me like that, Max. I taught you dark magic, and I can just as easily take it away. Perhaps I should take all your magic away. Let’s see how high and mighty you are without your powers.”
Blake growled loudly again and started shaking vigorously.
“Do not talk to my brother like that, you fucker!” Blake hissed through his teeth. You could see the veins starting to show on his temples.
“Oh yeah? Who’s going to stop me?” Josh smirked, taking a step forward. His eyes scanned everyone before landing on me.
“Rosy, darling, why don’t you come and say hello to your uncle? You and I, even though we are related by dirty blood, still have a relationship.”
Blake reached behind me, wrapping his arm around my waist and pressing me against his back.
Max instinctively moved closer to Blake as well.
Mia hadn’t left my side either. The Coven members all got closer to me.
“Must be nice to have both brothers wrapped around your fingers.” Josh snickered.
“I think it’s time you leave. You are on my territory without permission, and I have the authority to throw you out,” Blake growled.
“Do not let that man near our mate. Kiki growled in my head.
I grabbed the back of Blake’s vest and held on tightly.

The six–man that came with Josh was standing at the doorway behind Josh. They shut the temple door and stood in front of it, hands crossed in front of
them.
“You are standing in a mage temple in front of seven very powerful mages. Spirit or not, you do not stand a chance,” Max roared.
“How about I show you exactly what I can do” Josh’s eyes started to glow, and his expression became scary.
He raised his hands, and the air inside the temple got thicker and felt very dry. It felt the same as when Benji had done his magic think in the clinic.
