Chapter 44 Poor Loma
I watched with amusement as Cadell’s expression turned to one of terror. He didn’t even spare me a glance and hurriedly asked Lorna, “How did you end up here?”
Lorna, panting heavily, her eyes filled with sorrow, accused him, “If I hadn’t come here, how would I have heard you and Aurora talking like that?”
She continued to question him, “Did you plan to abandon me all along? No wonder you’ve been so distant with me lately!”
I couldn’t help but smile faintly, sarcastically saying, “Lorna, wasn’t it just a while ago that you sent me photos of you and Cadell’s wedding rings, saying you two were getting married? Oh, I see now. It was all a lie, all an act to deceive me, wasn’t it?”
My words were dripping with irony. Lorna’s face instantly turned awkward, and the next moment, her breathing became shallow, her discomfort palpable, like someone’s lie had just been exposed.
I savored her discomfort. When Lorna had tried to climb over me, she’d flaunted her relationship with Cadell countless times. Didn’t she ever think she might find herself in such an awkward situation?
If I truly loved Cadell, just her actions alone would have saddened me.
Unable to bear the irony in my gaze, Lorna’s tears started to fall uncontrollably, giving her an appearance of both beauty and vulnerability immediately.
I could clearly see that Cadell’s eyes were filled with sympathy.
After all, Lorna was his true love. Every time she cried, he lost his composure.
He quickly rushed to comfort her, “Lorna, I’ll explain everything. Please go home, alright? I’ll explain things to you once I’m done with what I need to do.”
However, Lorna didn’t heed his advice.
With eyes red from crying, she accused, “Explain?! You’re just afraid I’ll interrupt your old flame with Aurora, aren’t you? You plan on reconciling with her after I leave, don’t you?”
The more Lorna thought about it, the more convinced she became of her theory.
Angrily, she shoved me, shouting, “You b***h! You two have already broken up, but you still come around to cling to Cadell. Can’t you just let me be happy?”
My eyes instantly turned cold. The moment she shoved me, I sidestepped, and she missed.
During this period, Lorna had been walking around proudly, always showing off in her skinny, high heels. She never seemed steady, and when she lost her balance, she fell straight to the ground.
Coincidentally, someone had been inconsiderate enough to allow their pet to relieve itself in the garden, failing to clean it up.
Lorna fell right into it, her face smeared with filth!
I heard a sharp scream, followed by the sound of Lorna gagging violently.
I couldn’t help but glance at her with a bit of amusement. The dirty mess was even stuck to the corner of her

lips!
Whenever Cadell kisses Lorna in the future, he’d indirectly kiss all this filth too, wouldn’t he?‘
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the thought.
Lorna glared at me angrily. “You’re mocking me on purpose, aren’t you? Aurora, you did this on purpose! You deliberately picked this spot just to embarrass me!”
Her illogical reasoning amused me. “If you didn’t want to push me, how could this have happened?”
I paused for a moment, suddenly realizing. “Wait… Were you doing it on purpose? Do you actually like the smell? Oh, my. Your taste for men has already surprised me. You know, your favor for scum who others don’t want. And now, you even take those digested by dogs as your food?”
I sighed, “You really have a special fetish, Lorna. You’re handling this so well, not even thinking about cleaning yourself up. You even talked to me with all this dirt on you… Have you eaten like this before? Does
Cadell know about your habit?”
After saying this, I couldn’t help but glance at the grim–faced Cadell and kindly added, “Looks like he just
found out.”
Lorna was furious, glaring at me with hatred, her body trembling.
I raised an eyebrow and said, “What are you glaring at me for? Lorna, you should be thanking me. If it weren’t
for me, wouldn’t you have kept this fetish a secret forever? Over time, you might go mad trying to hide it. But now, Cadell knows, so you can enjoy your dirty habits openly. I’m sure Cadell loves you too much to mind
that, right?”
Lorna couldn’t take it anymore. With a scream, she lunged at me, apparently trying to claw my face!
Normally, I would’ve let her suffer, but now, with her hands covered in filth, I didn’t want to touch her. So, I quickly moved behind Cadell.
Lorna didn’t see it coming and ended up falling onto Cadell. I saw his body stiffen instantly, and I couldn’t
help but laugh.
‘Cadell is a neat freak. Even with Lorna, he must find this disgusting, right?‘
Sure enough, the next second, I heard Cadell gagging, followed by him angrily shouting, “Lorna! Are you done
yet?!”
Seeing that Lorna was the one who had caused this, Cadell didn’t defend her at all.
Instead, he reprimanded her, making Lorna’s eyes even redder. “I’m the one causing trouble? Didn’t you see
that Aurora is bullying me, Cadell?”
She looked so wronged, with tears streaming down her face. But this time, no one thought she looked beautiful while crying. Instead, it was just disgusting.
Refusing to be falsely accused, I retorted, “Wasn’t it you who tried to hit me and then fell by accident? What does that have to do with me? None of my business.”
Lorna was speechless with rage. I could understand why–ever since she’d started her affair with Cadell, he’d been pampering her. When had she ever suffered this kind of humiliation?
I heard Lorna ask Cadell, her voice full of grievance, “Are you just going to stand there and watch me suffer?”

Cadell turned his face away, gritting his teeth as he said, “Lorna, what you should be doing now is not questioning me, but quickly going home to clean yourself up. Stop embarrassing yourself here!”
Lorna looked at him in disbelief, her gaze fixed on Cadell.
