Chapter 387
Before she could finish, Sienna held up a hand to stop her. “No need. Doesn’t Sally Monroe have a cousin? We’ll go straight to her. Tell her if she wants to work with us, she has three days to come see me.”
Lana scratched her head, looking a bit lost. “Ms. Hart, Sally Monroe’s cousin, Demi Bale, is famous for her awful temper.
“She never has a nice word for anyone, and she’s unbelievably stubborn–completely inflexible.
“Are we really going to work with someone like that? She has zero sense of teamwork. For all we know, she could turn on us at any moment.”
Sienna gently placed a hand on her belly, a faint smile in her eyes. “Trust me, she’ll be all in with me.”
Lana and Reno looked at each other, still confused. “Ms. Hart, we don’t understand.”
They exchanged a look, both thinking, ‘Did Ms. Hart get some dirt on her or something?‘
“She only lost her husband a year ago, right?” Sienna asked.
Lana and Reno nodded.
“And she’s been going on blind dates lately, hasn’t she?” Sienna added.
They nodded again, still totally lost, so they just kept quiet and waited for Sienna to explain.

“Send Aiden Hart’s photo to her,” Sienna said calmly.
“Huh?” Lana and Reno both exclaimed, stunned and not quite able to process what they’d just heard.
“Just do as I say,” Sienna instructed, her tone brooking no argument.
Ever since Aiden got out of the psych ward, life had been a breeze. Sure, his monthly allowance was only seven grand, but there were always plenty of girls lining up to throw themselves at him.
Even his doctor would drop by his place to take care of him, all for free.
As long as he didn’t get on Sienna’s bad side, he figured he could coast through the rest of his life just like this.
That afternoon, Sienna was lounging in a chair, soaking up the sun, while Thorn kept chattering away beside her.
She just closed her eyes and tuned him out.
“Sienna, do you think it’ll be a boy or a girl?” he asked.
“If it’s a girl, do you think she’ll look just like you?” he continued.
“Sienna, you’re due in six months, right?” he added.
Thorn tried to reach out and touch her round belly, but Julian, standing nearby, smacked his hand with a stick in warning. Judging by the red marks all over the back of his hand, it was obvious he’d tried sneaking a touch more than once.
“Ms. Hart, Demi Bale is here,” Lana announced.
At those words, Sienna slowly opened her eyes. “Let her in.”
A moment later, a voluptuous woman with long, golden curls strode in, her high heels clicking on the floor. Her fair face was glowing with confidence, and as soon as she saw Sienna, she broke into a bright smile.

Chapter 387
“Hey, Hazel Noir, it’s been a while!” Demi greeted her with a cheerful grin.
ས
“And your brother Thorn Noir is here too! Oh wow, you’re pregnant!” Demi exclaimed.
“Demi Bale, please have a seat,” Sienna said.
“Sure.” Demi nodded.
Demi glanced around, not seeing the person she wanted to meet. She blinked and asked, “So, where’s the marriage alliance partner you promised to introduce me to?”
As soon as Demi finished speaking, Sienna and Julian both turned their eyes to Thorn.
Thorn’s eyes went wide in shock, and he shot up from his seat, absolutely furious. “What? What are you talking about? A marriage alliance? Sienna, are you seriously trying to set me up with this cougar? How can you be so cold–blooded?”
He totally lost it. Sienna was always cold and distant with him, but now–even knowing marriage with someone else.
‘How could she be so heartless?‘ Thorn fumed to himself.

Demi reached out and grabbed his ear. “Thorn, you little brat! Who are you calling a cougar? Call me ‘girl‘!”
Thorn grimaced in pain, shooting her a fierce glare. “Demi Bale, just give up already! There’s no way–absolutely no way-”
