Julian glanced at Sienna, wondering, ‘Is she really going to make him marry for an alliance? Thorn Noir might have been my rival in love, but now he poses no threat, and he never will.

Demi was never one for subtlety. She laid her terms out straight, no beating around the bush.
Sienna rubbed her belly. “Alright. Glad to do business with you. I’ll have him sent over to you tonight.”
Demi broke into a wide grin. The moment she saw the photo, she was instantly smitten. ‘How could there be such a ridiculously handsome guy, and with that mature, magnetic vibe too?‘
That face was absolutely flawless–even if she searched all over the world, she doubted she could find another man who checked all her boxes like this.
If she hadn’t been sure she and Sienna had never crossed paths before, she would have suspected Sienna picked him out just to match her tastes.
“Hope you don’t mind me asking, but is that guy a relative of yours?” Demi asked.
Sienna looked up at her, her eyes calm as still water. “He’s my father,” she replied evenly.

She honestly thought Sienna was just setting her up with some random relative at most.
