Chapter 398
After that kiss, Amber wasn’t shocked anymore. She just bit her lip.
She refused, “But I don’t like you, Hudson. We’re not right for each other. From now on, let’s not be friends anymore.”
Hudson’s heart raced as he rushed over to her. “Amber, you can’t do this. It’s not a crime to like someone, and now you want to cut me off?”
Amber glared at him angrily. “Who told you to kiss me? Do you even know that was my first kiss? You freak!”
Thinking about it made Amber feel so wronged. She had wanted to save her first kiss for someone she actually liked, but now it had been stolen by this old man.
Amber whimpered inwardly, feeling utterly wronged.
Hudson took her hand. “I’m sorry, it was my fault. But that was my first kiss, too, Amber. I’m telling the truth, I’m not lying to you–I really like you.”
Amber’s heart pounded as she looked up at him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. His face was so puppy–like, totally at odds with his real age–he looked more like a shy college freshman than a grown man.
“But I… I don’t like you,” she said.
She wasn’t even sure what it really meant to like someone. All she knew was that she cared about Sienna more than anything, wanted to be with her forever, and wished Sienna would always stay by her side.
They were family.
“It’s okay. I’ll wait until you graduate, and wait for you to fall for me,” Hudson said.
His eyes were full of affection as he gently ruffled her hair.
ん
Seeing Amber looking uncomfortable, Hudson pinched her cheek playfully. “Let’s just stick to how we used to be. While you’re in college, no dating other guys, okay?”
Amber slapped his hand away and gave him a sharp smack. “Stay out of my business, Hudson. You’re too mature for me. Just give up already–there’s no way a girl like me would ever fall for you.”
Hearing the words “too mature” made Hudson’s heart ache. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “Too mature? Seriously? That guy from earlier looked even older than me. Go ahead, compare us if you want.”
Amber pushed his arm off. “Don’t come near me, you freak. Hudson, I’m telling you, take me home right now. If you ever mess with me again, I’ll kill you.”
Hudson picked up her backpack and followed behind her. When Amber asked him to take a photo, he just pulled out his camera and took pictures for
her.
He knew Amber was still young and didn’t really understand what true love was, but that didn’t matter–he was willing to wait for her.
“Do you even know how to use a camera? This photo’s totally crooked,” Amber complained.
‘No way I’d ever fall for a man like Hudson, Amber thought with auff. ‘My dream guy has to be totally amazing, just like Claire said.
‘He has to have eight–pack abs.
‘He has to be loaded and totally at my beck and call.
‘He has to have eyes only for me.
‘And he has to come running whenever I call.

Hudson deken 1 fit the bill it all.
Fay never expected Winifred to actually complete so many dangerous missions and she pulled off every single one without leaving a flaw
Winifred sat in the chali, casually tightening the bandages on her hands. “Where’s the one asked for?”
Fay said, “You really surprised me. A deal’s a deal you’ll get what you’re owed.”
Winifred had officially established herself within the Umbrella Organization, and this news was great for Sienna. She asked Winifred to come back for a visit.
Seeing all the injuries covering Winifred, Sienna felt her heart ache. “Winifred, it’s good to do what you love, but don’t push yourself too hard.
Winifred hugged her tightly, taking a deep breath of Sienna’s familiar scent. “I’m not tired, Sis.”
Three months passed in a flash, and soon Sienna was about to have her baby. The private hospital was packed with people,
Nora and her brother Wayne were there, along with Thorn and his parents. Even Julian’s father showed up at the hospital, looking nervous. Julian had really shocked everyone–he and Sienna were having a baby together.
Claire and Miles kept Amber company, and of course, Hudson stood next to Amber with a scowl on his face. Claire couldn’t even pinch Amber’s chubby cheeks.
Rowena and Fay stood on either side of Winifred.
