Abandoned, Isabelle didn’t care about anything else. She threw caution to the wind, spilling everything she knew with a mocking laugh.

“Do you know what I found in your car? Aurora’s stockings! You two must have done it quite a few times in the car before, right? Aurora is such an idiot, for four years, she willingly remained your secret lover!”

“Sebastian, you’re the one who didn’t believe her words, you’re the one who saw her being tormented but still chose me. You think I forced Aurora away? It was you!”

With every word she spoke, Sebastian’s face grew a few shades darker, and his fists clenched tighter.

“It seems you still haven’t realized your mistake.”

He said, commanding the bodyguards to pin Isabelle down again and drag her away, leaving behind only the woman’s screaming voice.

Back at the villa, Sebastian had his bodyguards lock her in the basement, forcing her to repeat what she had once done to slander Aurora, only this time, she was the one suffering.

She was forced to hold scalding bowls, getting blisters on her reddened hands from the burns, or made to kneel as punishment. Kneeling for an entire day, even if she fainted and woke up, she had to continue kneeling.

During this time, Sebastian never once went to see her; he had more important things to do.

Ever since he recognized his feelings, he vowed to win Aurora back.

He came to Lydia’s house in the country and knocked on the door.

His sister quickly ran to open the door, but she seemed not to expect it to be him; the smile on her face froze, turning into an expression of disdain.

“What are you doing here?”

Sebastian knew he was in the wrong, so he came laden with gifts, raising a smile at Lydia.

“I haven’t had a chance to visit since you came back. These are all for you, Lydia.”

Lydia didn’t want to accept his kindness, but Aurora was right; no matter what, they were siblings, bound by blood. She put Sebastian inside with a cold face, piercing through his disguise.

“You’re here to ask about Aurora, aren’t you? I told you, I won’t tell you, so just give up.”

Sebastian entered the house, put down the gifts, and spoke softly.

“Lydia, I know I made a mistake, and I want to make it up to her. Can you tell me where Aurora went, okay? I won’t let Isabelle hurt her again, and in the future, I’ll be with her properly. Aren’t you and her good best friends? If Aurora and I get together in the future, you’ll be able to see her every day too.”

Lydia quickly cut him off.

“Even without you, Aurora and I are still good best friends. As long as she’s doing well, I don’t care where she is. Sebastian, you hurt her so many times, and you’re still thinking about winning her back? Before, it was you who told me that Isabelle was my sister-in-law.”

The man choked on his words for a moment and didn’t speak, but Lydia was naturally a straightforward person. As soon as she thought of the grievances Aurora had suffered, she got angry. Seeing Sebastian didn’t say a word; she became even more sarcastic.

“For Isabelle, you not only hit me, but you also hit Aurora. Sebastian, you’re saying you’re wrong now, don’t you think it’s too late? Let me tell you, Aurora is living very well abroad now!”

Hearing these words, Sebastian’s body swayed slightly. He took a deep breath and bowed his head in front of his sister.

“Lydia, I know I was wrong. I’ve already punished Isabelle. I can take you to see if you don’t believe me. Tell Aurora that I know I was wrong. Aurora loved me so much. She loved me for eight years, a whole eight years. She must be able to forgive me… Sis, help me this one time, I’m begging you.”

The more he spoke, the faster his speech, as if something was chasing him, and his eyes were red. But these words sounded incredibly ridiculous to Lydia’s ears. It was the first time she had found her brother so laughable.

“You know she loved you for eight years, so how did you treat her? You treated her as a bedmate, a tool, a pet you could summon and dismiss at will! You yourself exhausted her love. Now Aurora is gone, and you know you were wrong, Bastian, she’s also human, she feels pain too!”

Bastian heard his biological sister’s words, and the regret in his heart grew stronger. His voice hoarse, his eyes bloodshot, he knelt down directly.

“Lydia, at least let me see Aurora once, just once. If she really doesn’t forgive me, I’ll never bother her again.”

From childhood to adulthood, Bastian had never begged anyone. This was the first time he actually knelt before someone, and it was his own sister, just for Aurora, someone who had left him.

Lydia also didn’t expect her arrogant brother to go to such lengths, but she couldn’t bring herself to betray her good friend for her brother.

Lydia irritably gnashed her teeth.

‘I can help you ask. If Aurora is willing to see you, I’ll tell you her current address.”

The person who had originally given up hope instantly brightened his eyes, nodding impatiently.
