Once the driver arranged all the gifts, he started the car and headed to the Yoder residence.

It was only then that Xyliana realized her hands were too full to grab breakfast earlier. All she had that morning was a box of milk, thanks to Rosalie.
The idea of going to see her grandparents on an empty stomach made Xyliana feel frustrated. She sat with her arms crossed the whole way, not saying a word.
About twenty minutes later, Rosalie’s car slowly pulled into the Yoder residence. Unlike the traditionally styled Bronson residence, the Yoder residence was a luxurious manor with a modern Mediterranean vibe.
Looking at the endless estate, Rosalie was quietly amazed. She thought her parents‘ ocean–view estate in Janivelle was the best, but her grandpa’s place was on a whole other level.
As the car drove further in, a golf course came into Rosalie’s view. Rosalie thought, ‘A golf course here? Grandpa must really enjoy playing golf‘
Continuing further, she saw a riding club and other entertainment venues appear in Rosalie’s sight. This place was quite lively not at all like where elderly people usually lived.
Rosalie looked at the vegetable and fruit gardens along the road. She felt relieved, thinking, ‘It seems like Grandpa and Grandma must be in great health, growing their own food. They must eat and drink healthily, so it looks like I don’t have to worry about them.‘
Looking around at everything on the estate, she was starting to fall in love with this place. It felt much more down–to–earth and connected with nature:
Xyliana, who hadn’t spoken for a while, noticed Rosalie’s gazing out the window and asked with a grin, “Hey Rosalie, how about we play some golf after we visit Grandpa and Grandma?”
It had been a long time since Xyliana last played, and seeing the course today sparked her interest. But with Sophia not around, she had to ask Rosalie. She wondered if Rosalie had ever tried playing golf before.
Rosalie had no intention of playing golf with Xyliana. She wasn’t that free. She flatly declined, saying, “I have other things to do, you go ahead.”
“Oh, well, let’s plan for next time then.” Xyliana didn’t seem upset about Rosalie’s refusal. She figured Rosalie probably didn’t know how to play and was too shy to admit it.
At the main entrance of the house, Roxanne didn’t see Rosalie and Xyliana’s car and was worried they might have gotten lost. She turned to Zachary and asked, “Rosalie’s car isn’t here yet. Do you think they might be lost?”
Zachary chuckled and said, “No way, aren’t Xyliana and Rosalie together? They’re probably just stuck in traffic. Let’s head inside first.”
As they spoke, Rosalie’s car arrived at the entrance of the house. Seeing Rosalie and Xyliana’s car pull up, Zachary smiled and said, “Look, they’re here.”
Rosalie saw that Zachary and Roxanne had just arrived too, so she hopped out of the car and greeted them, “Mom, Dad, you just got here too?”
“Yeah, your mom was worried you got lost.” Zachary shared Roxanne’s earlier concern with Rosalie.
Rosalie turned to Roxanne with a smile. “Don’t worry, Mom, I got the address you sent.” She had been so busy picking out gifts for her grandparents that she forgot to reply to the message Roxanne sent her.
Roxanne felt relieved and nodded gently as she looked at Rosalie. “What gifts did you buy? Can I take a look?” Roxanne was still a bit worried about the gifts Rosalie had chosen and wanted to check them out. She had a back–up gift in her car just in case.
“Sure.” Rosalie signaled the driver to open the trunk.
Roxanne walked over to check and was instantly amazed by the gifts in front of her. “Rosalie, did you buy all of these?”
“Yes.”

Chapter 29
“Xyliana, I remember the flowers you gave Grandma before were different from these, right?” Roxanne recalled as she asked Xyliana.
Xyliana thought Roxanne was blaming her for not telling Rosalie which flowers Grandma likes. She quickly explained, “No, what you’re seeing are the ones Rosalie likes. I didn’t suggest she choose these, but she insisted because it’s her gift for Grandma. I couldn’t say much, so I just let her do it.
“But the flowers I bought for Grandma are over here. She can take some to give to Grandma since I bought an extra set.” Xyliana eagerly offered Rosalie some of the flowers intended for Grandma. She had told Rosalie what flowers Grandma liked, but Rosalie was determined to buy the ones she liked, leaving Xyliana with no choice.
Seeing Xyliana had prepared extra, Roxanne held back from criticizing her and instead turned to Rosalie, saying, “Since Xyliana bought an extra set, why don’t you take one to gift Grandma?”
Rosalie didn’t understand why Roxanne didn’t want her to give the flowers she picked out to Grandma, so she asked, “Mom, are the flowers I chose not nice?”
“Not at all, they’re beautiful,” Roxanne replied with a smile.
“In that case, it’s alright. That gift was meant for Grandma from Xyliana, and I can’t take it. It’s not like I came unprepared, though, I picked all these flowers especially for her,” Rosalie insisted on giving the flowers she chose.
Seeing this, Zachary spoke up, “Since Rosalie picked them out, I’m sure Mom will love them.”
“But…” Roxanne was worried that Grandma might not like the gift Rosalie gave and that it might affect how she felt about Rosalie.
Zachary gave Roxanne a reassuring look. “Why don’t you all take these gifts inside, and be careful,” Zachary instructed the servants.
“Yes.”
“Rosalie, Xyliana, let’s go inside,” Zachary said, looking at them.
Xyliana and Rosalie nodded, and the family of four walked into the villa together.
Johnny Yoder was puffing on a cigar in the living room when the butler approached him and said, “Sir, the young master and his family have arrived.”
Johnny, upon hearing this, quickly put down his cigar and instructed, “Go tell Loretta.”
“Yes, sir,” the butler replied and turned to leave.
Zachary and the others walked into the living room and saw only Johnny there. He immediately smiled and said, “Dad, Roxanne and I brought the kids to see you. Isn’t Mom home?”
Seeing them enter, Johnny’s face lit up with a smile as he said, “She’s home, she’ll be down in a bit. Why didn’t you let us know you’d be visiting? I’ll get lunch prepared right away.”
“Grandpa, I don’t think I can wait until noon. Do you have anything delicious here? I want to eat something now.” Xyliana was starving. After carrying all those things, she’d already finished a carton of milk and needed some food to restore her energy.
Johnny beamed when Xyliana asked for food, “You little foodie, asking for something to eat the moment you arrive! Luckily, I’ve prepared something for
you‘
