“I think he was on a job for his grandfather.” Tito shrugged. “We’d been given a rare night off*
“What is going on?”
“Oh,” Tito shot Susana a wide grin, “we have backup coming up to the condo. This building is a fortress, and we need more people to keep it safe. Also,” he shot Alcee a smirk, “your new BFF is coming up.”
Alcee sighed and rose to get another wine glass, praying the stuck–up woman didn’t ruin the easy vibe going on at the moment.
“What other BFF?” Lorita asked.
“I think he means Genevra is coming in. I thought she was staying with Kylen.” Susana whispered.
“Kylen is probably coming here as backup.” Amal threw in.
Sure enough a few moments later Genevra came in, shoved past Tito with a glower and lifted the wine off the table and started guzzling it straight from the bottle.
Alcee froze and then turned to grab a second bottle but then looked back when Kylen stormed in and ripped it from her hand.
“You are too young to be drinking wine.”
“I’m twenty–one and here in America, I am legal age to drink wine and any other spirits I want you giant toad,” she shoved his chest and hoped trying to grab the bottle from the hand which he held high over his head.
Alcee grabbed two bottles and headed back to the living room and shoved a new bottle into Genevra’s hand. “You look like you could use this.”
“He’s an ape,” she raced around the edge of the sofa and managed to evade his grab for the bottle. “What is it with men in this family thinking they have the right to tell me what I can and cannot do? I get it. I’m a fuck up all the time but it doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings and thoughts which are my own.”
“Amen!” Lorita held her wine glass up to Genevra to refill when the cork popped off the bottle.
“Genevra, give me the bottle now.”
“Kylen, I’m very certain you told me earlier I am nothing to you.” Genevra glared at him as she poured the wine. “So go fuck yourself.”
“Men suck,” Susana muttered angrily. “I’m so glad I’m not involved with anyone right now. I don’t think my head could take all the bullshit.”
“Did I just hear Susana Bianchi say she was single? Must be my lucky day.”
The heavily Spanish accented voice breaking into the conversation had five women all looking towards the man who entered the space behind Tank.
“Fuck me,” Susana whispered under her breath as she got her first glimpse of Jesus Barrone.
“With great pleasure but I think your father would put a bullet in my brains if I dared do it without a ring on your finger. We will talk more later, no?” He looked at Tito, “the office? I want to give Torq my intel before I whisk this beauty away for some conversation.”
As the group of men followed Tito down the hall, Tank paused and looked at Lorita, “don’t drink too much, gorgeous We also need to chat.”
Alcee looked around the group and then snorted, “as if we need to listen to their shit. Let’s have a girl’s party. No boys allowed.”
“How?” Lorita asked in confusion, her eyes following where Tank went.

“This condo has a theater room. The door has a fock. Let’s get snacks, wine, watch moles of forn mule on the glued wickedly and went Torq a message telling him he was responsible for Antero. His thumbs up emoji made her smile
