Chapter 151

I was perfectly fine with the vision of the hallway and would rather not see Nora felt up by three guards even though she evidently didn’t mind.

“Uhu?”

She didn’t answer, why the hell wasn’t she answering?

Damn, that meant I had to turn around and see the preview of the foursome that was about to take place.

I turned around, better get it over with.

But I saw now why she couldn’t answer me. The Guard in front of her, also the biggest one out of the tree who had one hand wrapped around her throat, slowly pushed two fingers into her mouth and Nora closed her lips around them.

“Those lips are going to look fucking delicious around my dick,”

My cheeks were turning red, I could feel it, the blood rushing to my face and my brows turning down in condemnation.

I cleared my throat the loudest I could and Nora took his fingers out of her mouth and turned her head as much as she could with all the hands she had on her.

“I’ll meet up with you later,” she sucked her lip between her teeth and pushed off from the guards- she walked ahead of them down the hall about to turn through the door where the guards had come out of but the big one slammed it shut in front of her.

“That’s the males’ changing room, it leads to the gym,” he said.

“I know, I thought-”

He shook his head and grabbed her chin.

“We’re not sharing you this time, Belle. They can you when we’re done,”

“Hazel, wait up! What’s the matter, you look like you’ve seen a ghost?”

I was on my way out of the palace and had navigated the maze that was these hallways, just about to reach the last door to freedom when Gabe ran up to me and fell into my pace.

If I sighed or groaned he might take offense so I forced a tense smile and picked up the pace while I hurried out. My frustration wasn’t him.

“Is there a fire I don’t know about?” He looked over his shoulder and looked over the palace for a flame.

“No fire,” I rolled my eyes.

Two of the drivers stood on the side of the road and smoked cigars. When they saw me hurrying one of them threw his cigar on the ground and opened a door.

Wait a minute he didn’t react because of me.

“Your Majesty,” the driver bowed his head to Gabe who winked at him and patted his shoulder before he fell into the backseat next to me.

When did my escape become a two-person getaway?

Gabe got comfortable, not a care in the world as he buckled his seatbelt and looked at me with that mischievous glint. Was that a younger sibling thing? Because my sister had that as well whenever she was testing me.

I took a deep breath, let it fill my lungs and calm my tense muscles, and then I let the stiff smile melt away.

“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked calmly.

“Whatever you’re doing. So what are we doing?” He smiled from ear to ear and the driver started the car and drove off.

Throwing him out of a moving car was to mean, not to mention impossible.

The little dimple next to his mouth deepened the more he smiled and he seemed genuinely giddy to be hanging out with me but I wasn’t planning on doing anything. I just wanted to get away.

“Shouldn’t you be with Kiera?”

A shadowed frown replaced the dimple but he gathered his thoughts quickly.

“I’ll check in on her later. We thought it’d be better if she spent some time with Elise getting aquatinted with the place first before we introduce the family she doesn’t know she has,”

Oh hell, I completely forgot about Elise. I wondered how she was doing and also why I hadn’t seen her in forever.

Gabe’s eyes dripped with worry over his niece and he was fidgeting with his fingers. The always cocky and quick-witted Gabriel Hayes, Lycan Prince of Valeria, was nervous. It was honestly kind of cute and somehow humanizing to see him display these vulnerable emotions. It was clear as day how much he loved that little girl and both he and Darian had already missed so much of Kiera’s childhood- but she’s home now, and they’ll make it up to her.

Shit, I can’t just ditch him now, he’s upset and nervous and maybe that’s why he wants to keep himself busy by accompanying me.

“Where are we going?” I asked and raised a brow.

It was like a sun shone from inside his face and his eyes lit up like a pup when they first see a wolf. Something told me that he was planning out our entire

afternoon.

As long as it kept me away from the palace, and away from Darian, I was happy to oblige.
