I had just taken a long shower and enjoyed some alone time when I walked out of the bathroom to find Darian sitting on the sofa.
He slowly raised his head and lowered the book he held in his hand. I don’t know what came over me but I dropped the towel that I was drying my hair with and left the other one wrapped around my body.
