Chapter Sixty-Three
Graham pulled Catherine out of Jensen’s office with a harsh grip. He strode down the hallway and took a sharp turn. Before she could get her bearings, he shoved her against the wall and trapped her between his arms. His mouth descended on hers in a desperate frenzy she could not keep up with. His hands ran up the dress she was wearing and fisted, bunching the fabric so it rode up higher on her thighs.
He pulled away and pressed scorching kisses along her neck. “I thought we were going to keep your gift to ourselves for a bit, baby,” he whispered, pressing his body firmer against hers.
Before she could answer, his mouth returned to hers and he sucked her bottom lip between his teeth. His tongue then invaded her mouth, licking the back of her teeth and challenging her own tongue to a duel. Another minute passed before he pulled away again.
“No one noticed,” Catherine panted, as he hiked one of her legs up to his hip.
Graham growled his objection as he dug his erection into her panty-clad core. Catherine was certain the rumors of the full moon’s effect on lycans was a myth. Now having experienced only a few hours of her mate under its pull, she knew it was all fact. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pushed her higher on the wall. She ran her hand through his hair and brought their mouths together again, trying to appease him without letting him fuck her in the packhouse hallway. Then she felt his warm fingers brushing her panty line and then shove it out of the way.
Catherine drew back sharply and tugged on his hair causing him to hiss. “Graham, not here.”
His black eyes faded to brown. “Did I hurt you?”
Catherine laughed. “No, I just don’t want my father to walk up on us.”
Graham scoffed. “I’d hear him coming.”
“Would you?” a third voice said to their right. Graham pivoted and dropped her leg, hiding her from the view of an amused Lucien. He chuckled. “Don’t stop on my account.”
“What’s wrong with you?” Graham asked.
From behind Graham’s shielding arms, she saw Lucien shrug. “I’m 672 years old. The moon’s pull doesn’t do much for me anymore. Watching how it affects others though is quite alluring.” Lucien leaned a shoulder up against the wall. “Please, continue. I believe you were just about to…”
“Let’s go, Catherine,” Graham interrupted. He took her hand and skirted around the ancient lycan alpha.
Once safely inside his mustang they drove toward town.
“What’s next?” Catherine asked, turning to face her mate who was currently kissing each of the knuckles on her left hand.
“Lunch,” he answered.
“I thought everything was shut down for the day?” she asked, sitting up straighter to see where they were going.
“Not the Full Moon Diner. They never close and rake in the money on the the full moon each month. Their hamburgers are great, I’ll just run in and grab us a couple and then we can head home.”
“You’ll leave me alone?” she asked, raising a dubious eyebrow.

He scoffed and sent a sharp glance her way. “I’m locking you in this car. I already texted the chef.” He pulled his phone out with his free hand, now driving with his knees. “Yep, they’re ready. It’ll take two minutes.”
Graham ignored the clogged parking lot of the old-style diner. He used a connecting parking lot to drive around the backside. He blocked several staff spots and cut the engine. He kissed the back of her hand one more time.
“Don’t. Leave. This. Car,” he ordered. “If it wasn’t pouring rain, I’d be hauling you in there with me. Lock the door.”
Catherine rolled her eyes. “My knight.”
Graham shoved the door open and jumped out into the rain. Catherine immediately took out her phone to text an update to Juno. A sharp knock caused her to jump in the air. She looked up at a dangerously wet Graham glaring down at her. His wet hair clung to the side of his face and his black t-shirt stuck to his skin. He tapped the glass closest to the lock. Catherine smiled and pushed the lock down with her pointer finger. With that, Graham turned and ran into the back entrance of the diner.
Catherine only had a few seconds to send a text before Graham was running back into the parking lot. She unlocked the door just in time for him to reach the handle. He got in and shook himself off causing Catherine to squeal. She took the bag from him and continued to giggle. Then he combed his wet hair back from his face and suddenly she wasn’t giggling anymore. He tried to adjust himself in his seat by plucking his shirt from his torso and adjusting his crotch. Instead all it did was exacerbate the issue. She pulled a fry from the bag and munched on it.
“Where would you like to eat?” he asked, starting the engine. “We could go home, go to the park. We could…”
“Somewhere private,” she suggested.
His brows furrowed as he thought. He put the car in gear and smiled. “I know a place.”
Twenty minutes later they were nearly done with their lunch. Catherine looked out the front windshield toward the cliff that looked down on the river below. It was a scenic pass with a secret pull off. She loved it. She glanced over again at Graham and was happy to see he’d finally finished. She put the rest of her burger back in the bag and wiped her hands. Graham grunted as she shifted, throwing her leg over his lap and settling down. She reached beside him, found the seat lever and pulled. They fell back until they were practically flat.
“Why Catherine, whatever are you up to?” he asked, running his hands down her arms.
Catherine gripped his wet shirt and pulled. She heard the satisfying sound of the fabric ripping. Wet rivlets dripped down the cool,
hardened skin of his bare chest.
She sucked on his earlobe and sunk her teeth into the delicate skin. “It turns out not even a shift suppressant or the fact that I’m only half lycan can keep me from lusting after you.”
Catherine kissed him deeply. A growl rumbled in his chest, setting her hair on end. His hands ran down her back and gripped her ass. He rolled her hips over his hardened dick.
*Lusting, huh? I’ve never had sex in a car before,” Graham admitted. “There should be enough positions to keep us distracted until the challenge.”
“There definitely is. Do you want me to show you my favorite ones?” Catherine taunted.
The taunt had the desired effect. His eyes turned black and his canines extended. He took her neck in his grip and rammed his mouth against hers. He rocked his hips more forcefully against hers, creating a firestorm of sensations to erupt along her skin. She tasted blood before she recognized the prick of his teeth on her lip.
“You know better than that, Catherine. You’re going to regret taunting me today of all days,” he whispered against her bleeding lip.

Graham palmed her breast through her shirt, grip tightening as he ground his hips up against hers. Catherine tried to work his pants down without breaking the kiss. Graham grinned against her lips as she shimmied and grunted. She shoved away from him to get back to her seat. When she’d successfully gotten his pants down to his knees she climbed back over him. She gripped his face in her hands and reclaimed his mouth.
Graham wasted no time redirecting the head of his cock to her soaking entrance. They cried out together as he thrust roughly into her. Catherine’s hand fell to the cold glass of the window to balance herself as he continued his harsh rhythm.
Catherine placed her other palm against his throat. She smiled down at his tense face filled with determination. She leaned down. In the same taunting tone she’d used before she whispered in his ear, “Don’t wear yourself out. This position isn’t even on my list.”
His eyes narrowed and the growl that filled the cabin was filled with menace. He slammed up into her causing her to scream his
name. He smirked and forced her mouth back to his.
