“Got it” Alina calls out jumping off the last step. She reaches the handle and opens the door to be greeted by a black wolf costume.
“Umm, Keith what the hell are you supposed to be?” Alina questions taken back by this.
“Well I called Blair and asked her what you were dressing up as. She said that you guys were going to be witches. But knowing you so well she figured you would go as something else. So I thought it be perfect to go with the theme. Little red riding hood and the big bad wolf Keith answers happily. Though Alina didn’t want to say it to his face, but she did not like it at all. She didn’t know why it bothered her so much, but she decided to let it go and not fuss over it She gives him the best played off approved smile she could, before saying her goodbyes to her parents.
Pulling up to the rising sun pack house, Alina couldn’t believe how many people were here already. When she stepped out of Keith’s car he was right by her side looping her arm into his. As they started walking towards the pack house there was what sounded like a deep growl from a distance. “Did you hear that?” Alina asks looking around as they walked. “Hear what?” Keith questions. Alina wonder maybe if she was hearing things so she just dismissed it, and told him “Nevermind“.
Within the hour the house was packed not only with kids from their pack, but a few others as well. Alina excused herself from the fan girls that were surrounding Keith, who gave her an apological look. But she just shrugged, and went to look for her cousin Blair.
I should have guess you would be no other than little red. You were always obsessed with that story when we were kids” Blair says from behind her. Alina mrns to face her loving cousin who was wearing a long pin straight black wig, and a little too tight black mini dress. If Blair didn’t have the pointed witch hat on and a broom in her hand, she would resemble a prostitute Alina thought to herself.
Dear cousin of mine, are you enjoying the party tonight?” Alina mocks jokingly ignoring her cousin’s comment.
The night is still young to determine, and plus I haven’t had a chance to scope out all the bachelors” Blair answers with a wink sending both of them in a fit of piggles. Soon the girls where grabbing some drinks that someone spiked without the Alpha and Luna knowing. Whoever they were had balls to sneak in booze o a party that the Alpha and Luna where attending. Then again teens will be teens as Alina’s Nana would say to her parents. After a few drinks the girls found hemselves dancing on the dance floor with other kids from school. Alina was finally enjoying her night, till someone wrapped their arms around her waist.
Turning around abruptly only to be face to face with her date. Alina decided What the hell! Why not?‘ and danced with Keith. “You look incredible sexy tonight Alina” Keith whisper into her ear. He turned her around so her back was to his chest, and his hands placed securely on her hips. Keith’s touch didn’t bother Alina, and she figured the drinks were to be thanked for that. She swayed her hips to the music as Keith followed suit keeping her very close to him. She didn’t mow how long they’ve been dancing till her body started to feel hot, and things seemed hazy.
I’m going to get some fresh air” Alina says to Keith as she steps out of his hold. “I’ll come with you” He tells her. Before she could protest he was already iragging her by the hand, and towards the back of the house.
stepping out into the cool brisk air Alina inhaled the smell of the trees, and pinecones of the woods near the pack house. She loved the smell of the night time tir, and wished she could enjoy it alone. She started to walk further from the house when she was tugged back. “Wait right here for a minute. I have to run back inside and take care of something” Keith informs Alina who just gave a nod in understanding. Alina sighed with relief once he was gone, and thanked the noon goddess for mind links. She went on anyways to continue her walk loving how bright the moon was tonight, and visible the stars were. Stopping in the niddle of the back yard getting a feeling she wasn’t alone anymore. Alina started to look over near the woods knowing it was too dark to see anything, even with her great wolf eye sight. After scanning and coming up with nothing she went on with her moonlight walk. After a few minutes of the nagging feeling of >eing watched she finally decided to call him out. Alina always got this weird tingling feeling when the black wolf was near, and never understood why that
was.
I know you’re out there” She yells out towards the woods. “I don’t know why you insist on hiding. I know you’ve been watching over me every since we first met Alina spoke taking a few more steps towards the woods. She waited a minute to see if she would get some type of response before saying something else.
“If you don’t show yourself then I’ll have no choice but to come in there and find you myself” Alina warned giving him one more chance, and she had no problem going through with her threat. This time she wanted answers and it was time for him to stop avoiding her.
Damian watched the party continue from the woods behind the pack house. He was sure he would have been caught after the threatening growl that escaped his chest. Then again he was too occupied with his stupid party to know anything else that was going on around him. When he saw that stupid boy link his arm with Alina. His wolf lost it, but Damian made sure to stay in control. He understood why it made his wolf want to go over there and rip him apart. Seeing how he was being so reckless with their mate, and touching her as well. It only irritated his wolf more, which didn’t help with his own personal mood. The boy was next in line to be alpha and should know better to be on guard for potential danger.
