The following week was almost over, and Alina did everything in her power not to replay last Friday’s events. She was having unnatural dreams of Damien, and it left her waking up covered in sweat. Even she knew she couldn’t control her attraction towards him. She still hated the egoistical prick for the way he’s been towards her. She knew she had to do something about this mate thing before things got of hand. Alina was tempted to give Keith a chance in hope it would distract her from Damien. But, for some reason she knew she couldn’t use someone like that. Plus, Keith was started to become a friend to her, and she didn’t want to ruin that. She knew her only other choice would be, and it was something she thought she would never have to do. This weekend she would go to Damien’s territory, and do what hand to be done. Even if it meant a life time of pain and regret, but it had to be better than what she was going through now.

‘Alright class today we hand in our project, but first you will show your partners your drawing of them” Mrs. Coldwell explains to her class. Alina pulls out her art pad and lays it down on the table.
‘Finally, I get to see this master piece you’ve been hiding” Keith beams excitingly making her giggle. Alina was also excited to see his drawing of her as well.
‘Ladies first” She joked nudging him with her shoulder.
‘Oh fine if you insist” He huffs jokingly. He pulls out his drawing and sets in it front of her. She stares at the art piece in front of her in awe. Keith was really alented, and really captured his view of her. Alina looks up to a worried face. “It’s beautiful, I love it” she tells him truthfully smiling. She could see his body
relax quickly, and a smile sneak up on his face.
Well I wanted to show the many sides if you. The dreamer, the warrior, the helper and so on. I have you standing on the hill, because it represents how you ook out for everyone. The stance shows how you’re fearless, and don’t take any crap from anyone. The red cape and books, well that is obvious to anyone who mnows you. The happy children in the background are the kids from our pack who you’re always helping, or doing something to make them smile. I know I’m always on about dating you, and people think it’s because of your looks. Don’t get me wrong you’re the most beautiful female I’ve ever laid eyes on, but that’s not what caught my eye. It what’s in there that did” Keith explains, before pointing to her heart. Alina was almost in tears when he finished explaining the Irawing to her. She quickly threw her arms around him, and pulling him into a hug. “Thank you” she whispers to him.
Why are you thinking me?” He asks pulling back to look at her.
Because that was the sweetest and most touching thing I’ve ever been told. Especially coming from an Alpha” she states smiling. Keith was speechless not
nowing how to respond to that. Alina didn’t give him a chance to ruin the moment, and pulls out her drawing of him. Keith picks up the drawing and studied t carefully. He already knew Alina had artistic skills, but this one blew his mind. “Wow” He whispers softly. “Why do my eyes look so sad?” He asks, still staring it the drawing.
Well my first drawing would have been of the egotistical airhead, but after spending time with you my view of you changed” Alina started to explain. “Jeesh, ‘m sorry I asked” Keith joked, and Alina giggled a little before continuing explaining her drawing.
Oh stop you baby. It’s your own fault that you have people thinking of you differently. The Keith I got to know when not in school was the real Keith, and the one I grown to like. You have a lot riding on your shoulders being next in line to be Alpha. Reason for the weights on your shoulders. I have you sitting at a lesk cover in paperwork, because your father is always throwing work at you. The sadness in your eyes represents your inner demons you fight. You are young, and want to live life as a teen. But you feel you must put the duties to your pack first. You don’t want to disappoint the people who look up to you, but nostly you don’t want to disappoint your father. The heart locked in a cage shows that you do have a heart, but you tend to hide it. You are truly a kind hearted person, and I know you will be a great Alpha when you take over” Alina tells Keith truthfully.
