“Angel, I know this is a lot to take in. I’m sorry. Maybe I should have waited for another day”
“No no. It’s okay. I’m happy you told me. Yes, it’s a lot to take in. I wasn’t expecting that information.” I had questions and I had to start somewhere.
“So, then why do you do office work? Like, don’t you already have your hands full?”
“Most of the time I’m doing Pack related work. It’s just recently that Patrick’s departure has caused a few problems. Otherwise, we were managing okay. We’re working on getting another GM soon. That’s why I’ve been working late, doing interviews and stuff” I felt even more guilt.
Poor guy had been stressed and struggling and I was adding to his problems.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to stress you out even more.” I hung my head. I felt horrible.
“Angel” he lifted my chin so I could look at him.
“You will never add to my stress. If anything, your scent is what calms me down” he wrapped his arms around me and pulled on into his lap. He leaned forward and buried his face into the crook of my neck and took a deep breath in.
I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck. I had missed his touch and regretted every minute I was angry at him.
“Angel…”
“Hmmm”
“Happy birthday” he whispered against my skin.
I smiled. I had told him I didn’t celebrate my birthday, but I didn’t say he couldn’t wish me. He had insisted on getting me a present but I told him no. But maybe there was something I could ask for.
“Babe, I know I said no presents, but I do want something”
He pulled away from me and cupped my face “What would you like, Angel? Anything you want you can have”
“I want a new place. This place was more of your bachelor pad before I moved in. I want something to call ours. Somewhere we can start our married life together. Somewhere we can share a room.” I leaned into his hand, looking at him carefully.
A smile spread across his face. It was the smile that made my insides wobbly and my panties wet. I bit my bottom lip to try to hold my desires in.
“Well, Angel, if that’s what you would like, that’s what we will do. I’ll talk to the realtor tomorrow and see what we can find. In the meantime, which room would you prefer, yours or mine? Because I don’t want to wait to share a room when we can start now.” He leaned forward and captured my lips.
I melted into his arms and let my desire take over. Blake wrapped his arms around me tightly and crushed me to his chest. Our lips moved together hungrily and I knew it was because we had been starving for each other’s touch.
I tightened my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers into his hair. We continued to devour each other until I needed air. I pulled away and Blake carried on kissing down my neck, going towards my mark. I eagerly tilted my neck giving him more access. His hand gripped my thigh and I felt him move his hand into my rope and towards my lady bits. I knew what he wanted and I wanted it just as badly.
I quickly untied my rope and threw it to the ground, leaving myself in a thin cotton night slip. Blake chuckled at my eagerness.
“Shall we take this upstairs then?” He asked and I nodded a little too hard.
He grabbed my butt with both hands and picked me up. I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist and giggled.
“Today, I want to be ravaged by my hot and sexy fiancé before we go to drinks with my best friends/ brother” I laughed, scratching my nails against Blake’s back teasingly.
He let out a low growl and his eyes went dark.
