Chapter 110
Sienna’s gaze was deep and unwavering as she gently stroked Nora’s hair. “It’s alright. Do whatever you want, don’t worry about anyone else or anything else. You’re not indecisive, you’re just afraid of failing. Nora, don’t doubt yourself. In my eyes, you’re the best. I’ll always have your back. Those tens of millions in Sinclair family dividends every month mean nothing to me. If you want, I’ll give you a few companies of your own. Didn’t you say you wanted to be strong and independent? Then go for it.”
Warmth bloomed in Nora’s chest, melting

‘But honestly, he never actually did.
“Don’t sell yourself short, Nora,” Sienna said. “Even if you get divorced, you won’t miss anything. Ethan’s come to me several times, but I’ve always turned him away. Just be real with me, what’s going on?”
Nora took a deep breath, steadying herself, and looked at Sienna seriously. “Ethan’s been cheating emotionally. There’s a girl at his company, Aria Dalton. She’s younger than me. I’ve known for years that something was off between them. I tried everything to stop it, but it just made me paranoid. I want a divorce, but I don’t want my son to grow up without a father.”
Sienna couldn’t help but twitch her lips. “Nora, you’re getting a divorce, not killing anyone. What do you mean, ‘no father‘? Even if you split up, he’s still your kid’s father. He can’t just walk away from that.”
Then, as if something occurred to her, she asked, “Wait, don’t tell me you’re thinking about walking away with nothing?”
If that was the case, then Nora must’ve gotten completely brainwashed by marriage all these years.
Nora stared at Sienna with big, blank eyes and blurted out
that how it’s supposed to work? I mean, I’m already taking the kid with me.”
Sienna took a long, deep breath, almost losing it. She shut her eyes, refusing to look at Nora, praying this was just her imagination.
She pressed her hand to her forehead, eyes closed, as if trying to ward off a headache. Seeing this, Nora reached out, worried. “Enna, are you okay? Does your head hurt?”
Sienna exhaled slowly.
“So, the real reason you don’t want to divorce is because you’re afraid of being broke?” she asked.
Nora looked conflicted, then gave a small, reluctant/nod.
Ethan’s black card, dividends from her family company, a two–million–dollar allowance from her
parents and brother every month, plus multiple
properties, a dozen villas, and luxury cars. Aside from all that, she was “broke.”
Sienna closed her eyes again and leaned her head back, seriously questioning her sanity for even sitting here and listening to this nonsense.
“Enna, are you feeling unwell? Should I call Jason over to take a look at you?” Nora asked, her voice full of concern.
Sienna didn’t even want to respond. Inside, her mind was in utter chaos–she was so speechless, she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
“Forget it,” Sienna sald, shaking her head. “Listen. If you divorce, you’ll take half of Ethan’s assets, and he’ll still owe you alimony, you could live o thousand lifetimes and not run out of money.”
Hearing that, Nora’s eyes lit up and she perked up instantly. “Enna, you make so much sense! If I took all that money and started my own business. I could be the richest woman in the world!”
she got scammed and ended up bawling her eyes out in the
Sienna couldn’t help but remember all the companies Nora had tanked before, and that time st doghouse.
Without hesitation, she popped Nora’s bubble. “No way. If you spend the money and enjoy yourself, you’ll never run out, not even in a few lifetimes. But if you go chasing your dream of being the world’s richest woman, you’ll be out on the Street begging in a month.”
“What! Enna, how can you crush my dream like that? You’ve changed! Do you have a new bestie? Tell me! Don’t dodge this!”
“Nope,” Sienna said.
Nora huffed, but then smirked. “Fine. Anyway, I’m getting a divorce, and there’s no way I’m leaving empty–handed. I want half of Ethan’s assets. I’ll be super rich!”
“Good,” Amber replied.
But then Nora remembered her parents and her brother, and her bravado instantly fizzled out. “But my brother will never agree.”
“Leave it to me,” Sienna said.
Nora’s eyes suddenly sparkled. Her brother, that perpetual single, was pretty much head over heels for Enna.
She shot Sienna a sly grin, but Sienna, sensing her thoughts, quickly looked away and checked her phone.
Sheryl Winslow’s name was trending at number one.
